The Black n Blue DMG

Some more great results with the blue splatter paint. This time on a gameboy with a color matching cyan backlight modification. Even the darker A/B buttons really added a nice touch. Another very impressive DMG-01 to leave the kilobyte mod shop.

Dual 8580 C64c Mssiah Box

When we found this old C64c case in such clean condition, we could bring ourselves to paint it black. But it definitely did not stop us from beefing it up with dual 8580 SID chips, (4) nice aluminum knobs, 1/4" Audio IN and OUT for each SID, and a blue power LED. Also when using the mouse, the toggle switches will remove any interference by disabling joystick knob's 3 & 4.

The Commodore 64 Cynth

Bear witness to the most unique Commodore 64 to leave our shop yet. This breadbox C64 has been completely overhauled and fully optimized for the Cynthcart music software. The extensive lists of modifications include: an all-over flat black paint job, an mounted & installed "Incredible Musical Keyboard Overlay", a red colored RCA composite Video OUT, a complete SID2SID with two original 6581 SID chips, 1/4" Audio IN and OUT for each SID, a Feedback knob and on/off switch for each SID, a Audio IN ground switch for each SID, and a cooling fan.

Also a linear slider potentiometer that controls the filter in Cynthcart has been customized into the side of the case.

And to further enhance this C64 we have added active audio effect componentry. Each of the SID's outputs runs through an Overdrive and Frequency Filter effect chain. These unique components are powered through an external 9v power adapter (i.e. Boss effect pedal). Please note that true bypass is still obtainable, but the built-in effects are so very impressive sounding.

The Vader III is Reborn!

We are really digging the blue splatter effects on a black commodore. The Vader III has been born again, and it as well features another long list of modifications. Among them is a complete SID2SID installation with (2) 6581 R4 SID chips socketed, 1/4" Audio IN's and OUT's, Audio IN on/off switch for each SID, RCA composite Video OUT, DINSync (or SYNC24), (4) joystick potentiometers with black and blue knobs, and a blue power LED. Also the keyboard has been replaced with a clean white C64c and the whole keyboard has been recessed for comfort.
